Awesome journey told from the perspective of the dog. Don't give up after the first chapter... it's worth hanging in!

This is on the sappy side (think Hallmark movie or Chicken Soup for the Soul), but still enjoyable. It is also a bit of a tearjerker, so you may embarrass yourself reading/listening in public.

Story is told by the dog. It's super cute, a nice light fun book to read. I liked it so much that I bought it for my nephew for Christmas.

I saw Bruce Cameron speaking at a writer's workshop & thought he was hilarious. This book shows that he's deep, too. He understand humans, dogs, and the ties that can bring them together. I cried and cried over this book, but I also laughed and loved my dogs even more. Well worth it.
