I was hoping more for a book about connections and actual first time meetings, but was still really intrigued and drawn in. The art of gathering talks about how to create and manage truly impactful gatherings. From how to begin, run, and end, the book highlights some surprising methods to get the most out of your time together. Definitely something worth keeping on hand for its actual use, but currently I feel that not a lot of what I plan needs the full Aog approach- but maybe that’s all the more reason to consider it

Just stunning. I was preparing myself for another light weight pop sugar book but this exceeded my expectations. Smart, thoughtful, and reasoned, this has redone the way I look at everything from birthday parties to Quarterly Meetings at work.
