There’s something about these Gibson Vaughn novels that I just love. They’re not the best, but they’re entertaining and isn’t that the point?

This one is a bit different as it tends to explore some of the other characters especially the relationship between Gibson and Dan Hendricks.

Worth the read in my opinion.

When I read this I didn't remember much of the previous 3 books in the series, other than I really liked The Short Drop. This was good, not great. Would read next in series.

When you have lots of time to listen, they go fast. Enjoyable, but not as much as a couple of the others.

Fun action thriller. Almost as good as the first of the series. I think FitzSimmons should move on from Gibson Vaughn's sidekicks.

Very solidly entertaining! While none of the books in the series have topped the first installment for me, this one came a lot closer.

It was fun to spend the majority of the book with Gibson, Jenn, Dan, and George. In any combination, these are four fascinating characters. There's some nifty hacker stuff, as usual, and a few lines that made me snort with laughter.

I really liked the world that FitzSimmons created in southern Portugal, especially since I visited that country a few years back. My only complaint is that the villain was a bit cartoonish, but the rest of the characters were well drawn.
