I only listen to the audio version of this I still haven’t read the book! I have had the book since 1981… it really works when it’s being read to you much better than reading it so I thoroughly recommend that then you can understand what Joyce was trying to do.

Este libro es muy guarro
Pero, pese a ser complicado de cojones, hay varios capítulos
muy muy interesantes, narrados de formas muy curiosas, sobre todo al principio y en el tercer cuarto del libro
No puedo recomendarlo porque me parece que es mucho mejor leerlo en inglés (por los juegos de palabras) y porque requiere tiempo, atención y ganas que dependerá de cada uno
Tampoco puedo calificarlo del todo así que le pongo 5 estrellas porque sé que es una obra maestra que, por desgracia, no es del todo disfrutable en castellano (aunque la traducción me ha parecido muy buena, eso sí) ni sin guías de lectura (que he usado bastante poco)
Si queréis leedlo adelante, pero mejor en inglés y si es una edición anotada mejor

I think I'm going to ending up enjoying this, but I want to be able to appreciate it rather than try to slog through it. I don't think now is the right time for me to do it justice.
I think this will be one for when I'm older and hopefully have a bit more patience! At least I know what it's like now.
