It was ok... The way time passed was a bit too fast and we were told more that what we were shown.... But it wasn't bad.

This wasn’t my favorite. The premise was one I found very interesting, but the execution just wasn’t my favorite.

Zora felt very bland as a character. Partially because, for such a wacky scenario, she didn’t really seem to ask the right questions or seem as wary as she should’ve been of what was going on. She was very wishy washy on when she was ok with things and then totally against them and the pacing only emphasized that.

When we get to the sort where they’re exchanging I love you’d… I just didn’t get it. I didn’t think they’d been through enough with each other to warrant that. Was the sex just amazing?

There was a lot of data dumping. Instead of the story giving you bits and pieces of Zora’s past as we went along, we get page after it’s of just Zora giving monologues which made for monotonous reading. We get a similar thing when her mother tells her story.

I did skim towards the end because once she agreed to live with them, it felt like there just wasn’t a lot I wanted to read after that. So, not a recommend from me personally.

Wattpad core

So this book was so cute and it definitely reminded me of when I read Wattpad back in the day! There were easily noticeable grammatical errors still left in the book and even an editors note in the middle of it but, the content was overarching decent.

The Fl
She was not my favorite she didn’t seem like the type of FL I usually hope for but, I like the little delve into her background.

ML 1(The Doctor)
He was my favorite he was a caring loving and very intelligent person it seemed.

ML 2(The Wild Card)
Ok so he was the given the least amount of character development which I think could’ve made the content a lot more enjoyable. But I love men that are crazy about their women so that was his positive.

ML 3(The Calm One)
He was a character that also didn’t have a lot of flavor but, this book primarily focused on the FL so I can’t completely fault the author. But he was a good guys

Overall this book could’ve used a lot more context in the ML’s background. I would read a sequel but the cliffhanger left in this book was jarring.

Pretty enjoyable book. The caller was as clear as day to me and not shocking at all to me. The bombs dropped were pretty apparent to me from the beginning and honestly I’m shocked the FMC didn’t put it together.

There were some inconsistencies. An edit made its way into the final book.

Nice re-telling of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Loved the sexual chemistry but the backstory was lacking; I wanted that part to conintue. Can I dare hope for a sequel?

2.5 stars

I really have come to enjoy this writer's work even though I thoroughly hated the very first book of hers that I read and it has taken years to try her again.

I gave this book two stars not because the writing was bad. The writing was actually quite good and as an erotica, modern retelling of Goldi-Locks and the Three Bears the story was clever and well told.

I gave it two stars because it was the perfect storm of elements that tend not to resonate for me.

First, I am generally against fated mates stories. I like it when the H/h fall in love with each other through feelings and emotions and not because of some pre-destined mechanism that tends to manifest itself in uncontrollable lust. Some writers can work this trope well enough that I can get over it. But for the most part I am not on board with this. I don't think I was 100% convinced here mostly because the back-story created for why she is their mate and they must share just sounded like hooey to me.

Second, a menage is one thing, but once you start adding more people I stop reading the sex scenes and start working out the sexual logistics in my head. That is never a good thing. And it gets even squickier when siblings or cousins are involved. Yeah, the spears never cross per se, but still these guys are all cousins and they getting it on in close quarters with one woman.

And finally, Goldi... er, Zora has a crazed stalker. I hate it when crazed stalkers are shoe-horned in just so the girl can get saved.

Not bad overall, but since some of least favorite elements were present I had a hard time really enjoying the book.

It's okay

It wasn't bad. There were some typos and at one point you will find an editing note. The plot and the characters could have been better developed.

A super sexy paranormal Goldilocks and the Three Bears retelling. I love fairy tale retellings, and was excited to see one for this underused classic. Zora doesn’t know quite what to do with the three bear shifters who claim to be her fated mates, though being with them feels just right. I really enjoyed this steamy romp in a unique world, and will be looking for more by this author.

This story was good, but I would have liked more development with the conflict. There was a lot of talking about it, but I don't recall any of it being described on the page. A lot happened off page that should have been in the story.
