Not as bad as I feared...

I really loved this one! While it wasn’t my absolute favorite Tiffany Roberts book they still succeed in building beautiful relationships and an amazing story.
They have a really beautiful way of crafting worlds and making you fall for the characters. While I was worried about how the book would end I was really pleasantly surprised! I’m glad this came in my Renegade Romance box and I got the chance to really read this.

Overall a really fun read! I love how they met & I love how their love for eachother slowly grew unlike most other alien romances I've read. Don't get me wrong, mate-at-first-site is hot, but this story seemed a little more realistic; albeit the giant green alien part. I did think the end seemed a little rushed, but honestly I was ready to be done with it at that point so no harm, no foul there. & even though Zoey didn't have anything waiting for her on earth anymore, I was kind of surprised at how willing she was to just go live on another planet for the rest of her life. I also felt a little unsatisfied that Mel never got any closure. & I would've maybe liked to have read more about how her ex was faring without her (miserably, I hope).

This was my first Tiffany Roberts book and I LOVED it. There was a level of critical consciousness to the comparisons between Ren's world and Earth that I really appreciated and the heartfelt scenes between Ren and Zoey made me so emotional. This was wonderful.

I adore Rendash and Zoey! I really liked that it was set on earth instead of another planet because watching Rendash interact with unknown earth things was Hilarious...omg him driving I AM DYING.
Zoey is plus size and does struggle a bit with her self-image she's just got out of a bad relationship (and can I just say the way I would have smashed all that man's belongings on my way outtt) and is traveling across the states to move in with her best friend and finds a stowaway along the way!
