DNF I don’t like doing this as I totally fell in love with her Wolf Hotel series, but this one just didn’t grab me. It is more fantasy and I don’t have issues with that genre. I got half in and felt she was still character building. I was in the mood for something faster so skipping this series.

I devoured this book. It was definitely setting the scene for the next books in the series, already started the second, excited to have more things uncovered.

This audio book, for me, has one of the best narrators I have listened to in a long time! Such a thoroughly great listen and then add in great world creations, vampires and wonderful characters, fantasies!

A Fate of Wrath & Flame was really divisive for me. I didn't really like the writing (just my opinion, based on my reading tastes). But, I was into the plot and the characters. The relationship between Romy & Zander was definitely a slow burn, but an enticing one. And there were quite a few plot twists that got me! Unsure if I'll keep going with the series
