I DEVOURED THIS BOOK. Jace is just to die for!!!! It was the perfect mix of spicy and romance and heart and soul and intensity. I loved watching Bethany rediscover herself with Jace watching over her and Bethany learning to finally put herself first! I loved watching Jace realize what he needed to do to be the man she needed! I also really loved this wasnt the cliche "girl meets boy, boy loves girl, boy fucks up, boy gets girl back and they live happily after" storyline. The conflict between them went deeper than these cliches and nobody ran away or gave up. Also the EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL SUPPORT that Jace gives Bethany is just

Of the three books in this series this one has to be my favorite. Jace is the intense one on the outside, but Bethany gets under his skin like nobody else. After a night with Bethany, she slips out while he is sleeping and Jace can't let her get away. While Jace used to share women with his best friend Ash, he can't imagine anyone touching Bethany. His obsession shocks and overwhelms him, but Bethany is worth it to him. While Jace is intense he is also in tune with Bethany's needs and not as overbearing as some of the other male alphas in other dominant/sub characters and it was refreshing.

Wow I loved this book it was so much more intense than rush. I can't even believe all that happened. I laughed and cried and enjoyed every page of fever. I'm super excited for Ash's book!!!

I really wanted to like this book. I loved Jace in Rush and couldn't wait for him to get his own book. I was soooo disappointed. I read this book shortly after I read Rush and just did not like it. I gave it a few years and tried again. I couldn't get through it. First off I just can not stand Bethany. She is so incredibly annoying, yes we get it you had a hard life but the way she treats everyone else especially Jace's family during Christmas is a deal breaker for me. She is just annoyingly insecure. This girl cries CONSTANTLY, almost every single page in fact or "her eyes are filling with tears". For someone who lived on the streets for so many years you would think she would be tougher. She is just such a weak character. Second, this insta-love between her and Jace is rediculous. It's ridiculously obsessive and we learn nothing about either character other than how they feel about each other. Because Bethany is so weak it makes me second guess the validity of this "true love". Mia is getting married and has Gabe and now all of a sudden Jace has someone else to take care of? Mia at least had a back bone. I loved the character of Mia, how she could go on living without Gabe. She needed him because she loved him not because she couldn't function without him. Bethany is just a complete disappointment :(.
