I mean, come on. Joe Kenda is the best. I love his sense of humor, and I am always inspired by his dedication to his job and his family. I feel privileged that he chooses to share his life with us!

Just as real as on the show. I enjoyed this book and the look into a detective's life. The personal strength it would take to start and stay in this line of work is intense. No punches pulled here. I like the straight talk and real experience that this book shares.

Joe Kenda is a very interesting guy. I loved this book and dog-eared many pages to come back to later that had interesting tidbits I could use for my own personal safety.
Started watching Homicide Hunter a few months ago. As soon as I learned he wrote a book or two, I tracked them down immediately. You get a flavor of his personality in the show, but you get a deeper look in this book. It was interesting to read more details about some of the cases that I had seen portrayed on the show.

I love Homicide Hunter so I was extremely curious when this book came out. I love how I can almost hear Kenda's voice speaking it. The dark humor is great, I will freely admit that I laughed probably at some really inappropriate times. As someone with an interest in psychology, specifically abnormal psychology, I found the whole thing cometely fascinating.

I listened to this book on audible and I highly recommend it because it was narrated by Joe Kenda himself. He has a great sense of humor; there are parts of the book made me laugh out loud uncontrollably. Audible > physical book in this case!

Oh Joe. I love you and your television program so so much, but I couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll revisit it at a later date.
