Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. LOVE! The best book I've read so far this year. It's the first book from this author I've read. And the first comic-style book I've read. I cannot wait to read the next volume. My emotions were all over my face throughout. Majority of the time with a big smile on my face. I've fallen for Nick and Charlie. Such a wholesome story. The illustrations are beautiful. And that cliffhanger ending automatically wanted me to pick up the next book. I loved the extras after the story. This book fills my heart and continues making me smile long after I've read it.

I finally read this haha. I thought it was very cute and quick to read, but there were a lot of elements or tropes that I usually try to avoid in queer media. I hope those things will lessen as I continue the series, so I'm not too mad about it. I also just prefer adult romance, and usually I prefer an edgier or gritter atmosphere to my books, romance or not.
Graphic: Bullying, Homophobia, and Sexual assault
Moderate: Outing
Minor: Biphobia

I fear I’m about to read all of these in a row and then be very sad about being caught up. This was SO CUTE. I’ve been tempted to read this series for a while so when I found the first four at a used bookstore today, I knew it was a sign. No regrets.
