7.28.20 update: rating changed to 2.5/5. this book was alright/ok/meh.

This one took an interesting and unexpected turn. The first two volumes are a pretty succinct story, so I'm curious to see what happens in the next volume.

I liked this volume a little better than the first. One of the biggest reasons is that Jen was added into the main group. I also like making friendship bracelets, so I like that they're showing more of her. This volume tied up the storylines pretty satisfactorily, but I'm glad that the series continued.

This second volume took the story to a WHOLE NEW LEVEL I did not expect! Very unexpected incorporation of Greek Mythology and UNEXPECTED VELOCIRAPTORS!! I think this second volume made me appreciate the first much more. Where I was uncertain with the characters before, I really got to see their relationships blossom a bit more and characterization was stronger here. I also think that there may have been a hint at a girl-girl relationship here? I'm not 100% sure, but I like that it was hinted at in a young reader/teen graphic novel.

Great art style, exciting and original story-line that kept me turning pages until I was done.

#5: "How long has your hat been a live raccoon?"
Also, the plot twist.

#6: RIPLEY MY QUEEN.
Also, Diane was kind of creepy on this one.

#7: SAY WHAAAAAT? This one just turned the whole story upside down.
UNEXPECTED TWISTS... AGAIN.

#8: All I have to say is, Ripley >
"I wish Bubbles had a funny hat"
"I wish everyone had a kitten"

I really like these. I don't know why people complain about the art style (????) I mean, I really like it.
My only problem with these graphic novels is that they are kind of short, but I really like the randomness that it has, so that makes up for it.
