Yep, the foundation series, the robot series then empire, as well as his short story, The first question, knocked my socks off when I was in school, majoring in computer science. Right around that time just before I graduated, he died, and I was on the physics-L Usenet list at the time, so it was an interesting time to be connected with students from across the country and from the United Kingdom as we mourned his passing as well as with people on the chess list. I've got to go back and reread these books and review them correctly I suppose. Now that it's been nearly 30 years I think.

The most interesting mystery and robot wise of the robot series (so far). I enjoy the development on how people can manipulate robots with orders in regards to the three laws. Was a bit weird for the very long sex culture conversation on Aurora and Solaria but uhh thats fine i guess?? people are horny for robots and i wonder if this will continue in the future books. Maybe Asimov is a pioneer in robot fuckery and I'm excited to find out

Definitely my favorite out of the trilogy. Great plot twist. I really didn't see it coming.
Elijah meets Gladia again in this one; a very sexual feminine woman. I mean, she has sex with a robot. What's not to like about her. Once again their meeting takes place on another planet. So the likelihood of getting caught by the wife is pretty remote. My wife is Sicilian, so I'd still be too scared. But that's another story.
Life was definitely more fun in the 80s. The books and movies prove it.
