get it for your kids, but read it yourself, too!

Great story! Action packed! Monsters, zombies, and an apocalypse… there’s enough story here for everyone! Kids learning how to be brave and fight for themselves. Learning how to work with one another. Five stars all the way.

I can see why my kids like this book so much. Funny characters, zombies, fighting and an inventor.

I have to play catch-up on reviews but my I’m reading this series with my son

He’s 8 almost 9 and loves them.

We read book 7 first when he brought it from school and quickly realized we need to read from 1 to understand what’s going on

I enjoy bonding with him over books and this was a great start

Jack and his friends are quickly becoming a favorite topic in this house

A fun series that my 11 year old enjoyed and now reading them with my 6 year old. He is ready for the next book already; definitely a fan.

This was a fun and funny read, great for upper elementary or early middle school students.

Not as funny or action-packed as the previous entries, but it's the first in the series to force the characters to confront loss and the different ways that humans and monsters deal with grief.
