Wedding at Sea is the third and final book of the Muir Harbor series. Could this be read as a standalone? Maybe, but I wouldn't recommend it. While each book has its own unique story and mystery (and the author does do a great job of catching readers up), there is also a mystery that continues throughout the series as a whole that is finally brought to its conclusion in this one. I think readers will definitely get the most out of this book having ALL the backstory.

This has probably been my most anticipated read of the year. From the moment I read the first book- Autumn by the Sea- two years ago, I was absolutely hooked and found myself impatiently waiting for the next book. And when the next book came out, same thing. I truly could not wait to see how everything was going to play out and to finally see Lilian's story. And oh my goodness... it absolutely did not disappoint! Every single book in this series is just as good as the last. It's the perfect blend of romance and mystery, but also a great story of found family too. The animosity between Lilian and Wilder has been set up from the very beginning and so seeing them come together was absolute perfection. Whether they were arguing or getting closer, I just adored these two together.

Admittedly there were a few parts of the mysteries that I figured out fairly early on... but there were still other aspects that threw me for a loop... and I enjoyed every single minute of it! This was such a great conclusion to a series that will certainly remain an absolute favorite for me. If you enjoy Christian romance with some great mystery mixed in, this is one you absolutely cannot miss!

**I received an ARC for consideration. All opinions are my own.

What a wonderful ending to this Muir Harbor series! My heart feels like bursting!

This book was perfection, every time I read a Melissa Tagg book I say it’s my new favorite and I’m proud to say it again. This one tops the rest. Wilder and Lilian’s story is top notch, the banter, sarcasm, grief, the not knowing! It was so beautifully done.

Maggie’s mystery as I like to call it (so there are no spoilers) is solved and in such an unexpected awesome way! It was amazing the way everything just came together in the end.

I loved this series so much and I’ll be looking forward to the next Melissa Tagg novel!

I received an ARC through netgalley for an honest review, all opinions are my own.

Oh where to even begin? I don’t know that I have words for how much I loved this book. I have been really distracted while reading lately but I read the last 40% in one sitting-75 minutes passing without me even realizing it, I just couldn’t put it down. I honestly don’t remember the last time I stayed up past my bedtime for a book but I was to engrossed to stop!
I have been waiting for Lilian and Wilder’s story since their very first interaction and I can confidently say that it exceeded my expectations! Their banter is so on point and perfectly timed and they way that goad each other is just immensely entertaining. But I also loved watching as their relationship morphed and they realized the feelings that were underneath the surface. It played out so naturally the way things just slowly shifted until they became the most important person in each other’s life. The romantic tension may have almost killed me at times but I absolutely loved the way it played out even if we had to wait for certain moments.
And even though the romance was engaging enough on its own the author upped the ante by hooking us with mystery’s to solve that I desperately needed the answers to! I couldn’t stop reading as more pieces of the puzzles fell into place and Tagg got in some good surprise moments at the end!
It was also fun to catch up with the other Muir family members and their significant others!
I’m a little sad to see this series end but the ending was so spectacular that it makes it a little easier, and I know I can come back to Muir Harbor for a visit whenever I need to!

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the author. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are my own.

Honestly this was such a good book, and very quick and easy read. It felt as though i was really connecting with the characters and i loved how even though it was third person point of view, the chapters still focused on one person at a time and we got an insight into what they were thinking and feeling. I had a few sneaking suspicions throughout the book and loved to see how the story played out and if i was correct, and there were definitely a fair share of plot twists along the way that i loved to see.

To put it simply it was a great mystery unfolding book with romance weaved into it.

Tropes included were amazing too: brothers best friend, enemies to lovers, unsuspecting romance, small town romance, found family and the list just goes on.

The writing of this book was fantastic and it felt like the story just flowed so well.

This was the perfect book to get me out of a reading slump! You'll definitely want to read the first two books in the series first, though.

For fans of Muir Harbor, "Wedding at Sea" is the perfect conclusion to the series. It doesn't tie everything up in a neat little bow--but it answers the questions we've been desperate to know since the first book.

As we've come to expect in Muir Harbor, there are discussions of difficult topics. But the family that Maggie has created through adoption--ups and downs and difficulties included--is what makes this series truly beautiful. Highly recommended--especially if you're in a reading slump.

When you are waiting for the third and final book of a series, there is always a little apprehension: Will it live up to my expectations? In the case of Wedding at Sea, it is a resounding yes!

Lillian and Wilder are a compelling and swoon worthy couple. From their first interaction, I wondered how they would eventually get together. Maggie forcing their proximity to plan her wedding felt like the perfect opportunity. They definitely hit all the enemies to lovers trope notes but in a way that felt natural and organic. They are sassy and sarcastic with one another that later leads to vulnerability and tenderness that left me rooting even harder for them.

The underlying mystery of what happened the night Diana died and Cynthia disappeared is answered in a fully satisfying way. I did not one of the twists coming and it left goosebumps on my arms.

Melissa Tagg continues to be the bar for how to handle God in a novel. Faith is never a forced topic, but rather intertwined in meaningful and genuine ways.

Overall, this book hits all the right tones and left me fully satisfied with both the couple's story as well as the underlying mystery. I highly recommend this book! 5 Stars!

Thank you to Larkspur Press and NetGalley for allowing me to read the book early! I was not asked to give a positive review. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
