Pros:

While this is one of the more difficult books because of the sadness within every bit of the bad makes sense and makes the good even more special.

Cons:

I really want additions here with the weddings, first anniversary of the coronation celebrations and more so hopefully someday someone will talk the author into those!

I didn't enjoy this one as well as the other books in the series. It just all seemed rather flat and quick to me.

For Y.A. I frigging love this book. Alanna's was the first series where I saw an awesome lady take charge of her love life, and not be constrained by Puritanical bullshit. Birth control, deciding when and how she wanted kids, having several lovers before choosing someone who wasn't jealous or afraid of her, and who loved her without wanting to change her. Such an amazing role model.

But also, the story is good, I'm just looking back on its influence on me as a kid, and noting the importance of seeing that at my early age.

I've read this series several times, and love it every time.

A nice ending to series. Overall I enjoyed the books. Easy read and a generally fun story.
