Wow Tiago is as dark a male protagonist as you can get but his obsessive love for Kate just drew me in like a fly to honey. Their push/pull was sick yet intoxicating to read. Nothing is sugar coated and nothing is treated as normal healthy love but at least they both recognize it. I was also surprised to find that painite stones are real and very very rare. Still would not want my nipples pierced with them!

How this author makes me fall in love with bad guy I will never know. Tiago was a broken man, and the more you get to know him the more in love I fell. Kate truly was the one person for him. This read was dark and beautiful!

After the disappointment of the past two books, this book was amazing!

I realised whilst reading this book that I don't like the whole "my sister is missing go find her" so the next book is basically that. Which this series does do. I found that trope so boring and easily predictable.

After loving 'Vanquish' the second book in this series, I knew I'd devour this book and the trope that both these books have. Kind of sad theres no more of this trope in this series.
