Great book, though I really hope Dave and Georgia get together.

First and foremost in regards to the first “real” life event  outside of boys and snogging that occurred it Georgia’s life- I really thought I was going to walk away at book 9 (out of 10!) I would not have forgiven this plot had it went any other way.

Moving along, the book is okay.  It might be the first one that takes place outside of school mostly- during the summer holidays.  I kept wondering when Stag 14 would start again and then realized they must start later than us (which honestly, a September start date has always made more sense to me).

I felt like we were just between two boys again. Though I’m not sure Georgia has completely realized it this time. In the last book we were actively bouncing between Robbie and Masimo with a hint of Dave.  In this installment it’s Masimo with a back burner of Dave- I THINK Georgia might just be about to realize what we’ve all known forever, that Dave the Laugh/Tart is the one for her.  The TENSION is in fact burning.

Also I know we are only really being given Gee’s vision of things with Jas and Jas probably is a better pally than Georgia but also, I too, find Jas to be lame with this whole “one and only” stuff.  They are 15 (I think) after all and sacra bleu it’s all rather exhausting isn’t it?

While we ponder age, does anyone know how old Masimo is? I mean, Robbie’s big thing was that Georgia was too young for him.  Then Masimo replaced him in the band when he left and as far as I can tell Más doesn’t going to school with any of the other lads. His roommate is actually Dom, from the Stiff Dylans, and I could be wrong but I though Dom was also a bit older. So… is one boys problem another boys thing? 🤔 It’s weird.

All the same, Georgia’s adventures continue to be a semi mindless excursion with some laughs along the way and I’m in a place that really appreciates that right now.

I didn’t really enjoy the scene with regards to Angus but other then that I was more interested in getting to the last book and finishing the series tbh.

I love the series. This is the 9th book in the "Confessions of Georgia Nicolson".
It is so hilarious and this book was no exception.
I lauged. A LOT. And I also cried a bit.
All in all it was a really funny book.
Although the German that Georgia and the Ace Gang are speaking is not really correct, it is fun to see how British people see the Germans.
I enjoyed as always the parts with Dave the Laugh. Because he just is a laugh.
And always when I read those books in public, I have to giggle. A LOT. And I think that people think that I am mad. But it is just that great.

Not my favorite in the series...took almost the whole book before it got interesting for me. The series is getting a little repetitive and I'm ready for it to wrap up. Stop in the name of pants, indeed.

The most recent in the Georgia Nicolson series. Georgia is now home and very confused about Dave the Laugh’s intentions, while desperately trying to get to Pizza-a-go-go Land to see Masimo. She has men coming out of the woodwork looking for attention and she has no idea what to do about any of them.

When a tragic accident strikes her family, Georgia slowly starts to see who she may rely on most no matter what.
