uh this book put me on a rollercoaster of emotions. please bill tahereh mafi for my physical and emotional injuries from this. the amount of times i physically gasped, screamed, cussed, and hit the book.... i think this just further solidified how much i love this series.

Love it! Good action & excitement throughout which is great so far into the series and for fairly short books. Also loved having Kenji's POV! The author does a great job of differentiating the charcaters' voices so it really does feel as though we're changing perspectives and I enjoy all of them.

Personally, the ending was a bit much for me and I think I would've preferred

if they didn't get engaged
