⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - The Theft of America’s Soul is for every American, every Christian, and anyone who wants to see the restoration of a God-led and thriving America, once again. For now things are not going so well. America is in the midst of a culture war where dangerous lies seek to replace the truth in our country, and in many cases have already done so. Every day, everywhere, we are told: (i) That God is dead; (ii) That the devil does not exist; (iii) That truth is relative; (iv) That God did not create life; (v) That Sex is for self gratification; (vi) That Virtue is passé; (vii) That Only convenient laws should be followed and that inconvenient laws should be changed or ignored; (viii) That Unity is impossible; (ix) That Participation in church and people's daily lives should be separated; and (x) That Christians ought to just shut up.

I enjoyed listening to this as it is read by the author - any fan of Phil would enjoy this listen. Phil has such a straightforward, easy manner that is hard to ignore. The material presented here is not new or revolutionary by any stretch but a reminder of how we got where we are; he presents the lie and the truth that refutes it. It was especially affecting to read this during our current pandemic, lock-down, quarantined state of the world and the rhetoric that is absent during this time. How more and more Americans are turning back toward God (or toward something) and toward truth. How simple things like sidewalk chalk and family dinners are replacing the go go go of busy schedules by both parents and kids. How families are finding joy in each other and just by being with one another.

Wow. This was fabulous. So incredibly eye opening and it doesn’t just have to be about America, I just replaced ‘America’ with ‘Australia’ and it’s crazy how much it relates.
I loved this audiobook, Phil narrates it himself and it makes for a great reading experience. He is so enthusiastic and real. Unafraid to speak the truth of his life and his sins, and then show how he has been transformed through the good news of Jesus Christ.
The lies we are told are so convincing and Robertson is very direct in how he shows that these are the lies of Satan and are not the truth of God. Use the truth of the Word of God to show you the lies we are being fed.
Recommend this to everyone and I’ll be getting a physical copy myself, re-reading it and giving it to others!!

I have never watched a Duck Dynasty show, so I went into reading this rather blind but was moved to read this and I’m glad I did. He might be a self-proclaimed “river rat”, but man, he is an educated force to be reckoned with. I would recommend this to any Christian or anyone who isn’t. He talks of going to college in the 60s, getting his degree and then his Masters degree, getting messed up with drugs and wrong influences and how he came out of that and went back to his wife. And has since then led a God-filled life.

He talked of her praying for him and him wanting so badly to not feel miserable anymore. So, he met up with a minister that told him the gospel story. This is the part that to me is fascinating and sad. He had gone to church with his family his whole life and after hearing the story from that minister said, “I had never been taught the story and the good news.” After that he said he saw God’s working in his life clearly and wanted to spread the good news to everyone. And met many others when he too told them the good news, in turn, that they had never been told this and had or had not gone to church. What are churches doing if not teaching and spreading the good news?! I don’t get it.

To his credit, he tells his ugly stories and his good ones, maybe blunt ones. He was a pleasure to listen to and I think I agreed with 99% of what he said. He is talking to Christians in America that don’t speak out. I am mostly one of those. But it was convicting. How does he speak out? He just asks if people are happy, tells him his good news of Christ and has nice, good conversations with people. All of the time. He calls out everyone, even himself at times. But especially the Christian Church made up of individuals, not a building, as a whole for not standing up for God and Jesus and laying low. It is an honest look at what is happening to America and what Just might be the problem.

When he talked of going to Angola Prison and speaking there, I was touched. He didn’t sugar coat their condition and what they had done but spoke about how they could find salvation and be forgiven even here by God.

He was quoting scripture pretty much the whole time. The man knows his Bible and is an encouragement. It has made me consider how I spread the good news in my life and interactions and I am sad to say I’m a little too hesitant because of reactions, but he certainly is well armoires and equipped to do it and does it well. He encourages everyone else to do the same. It is worth the read. I will be adding this to our 5 foot shelf.

Conservative, honest assessment of the biggest lies that have been sold to modern American (and other) people.

I absolutely loved this book! I love how open he was about his past. People who read this should realize he is a conservative Christian who stands up for his beliefs and is completely devoted to them. Loved it! It gave me warm feelings in my heart. I stand by him and this book.
