I LOVE THIS BOOK. Yes, it is incredibly cliché (dead mom, the boy next door, an embarrassing clumsy event happening every time they’re about to have a romantic moment, a little bit of not-like-other-girls syndrome), but I don’t care!! The absolute chokehold that the fake-dating trope has on me is insane. This book made me feel like I was 18 again but in the best, most nostalgic way. I love the characters so much and I will be reading the sequel the second it comes out!

One of the best fluffy romance booos out there. No smut and just pure chemistry bw the characters. Its funny, romantic, dreamy all at once. Just the right genz language to not make it cringe.
The pages just flew by and i finished it in 2 days.
Tho i found it eerily similar to To all the boys i loved before by jenny han, the writing is to stay for.
Perfect summer read.

Also basically ist das Buch wie der Film "the duff". Auch sonst viele Sachen von anderen Büchern und Filmen übernommen. Trotzdem hat es Spaß gemacht und war am Ende sehr emotional

A cute story, but I was a bit turned off by the cursing and sexual comments throughout.

In the beginning of this teen romcom, I was not liking the fmc at all, she’s a little annoying and selfish, and has super unrealistic expectations when it comes to romance. But as the book goes on she does mature and become a better communicator. This is a really sweet enemies to lovers, fake dating book and I’m excited to read more from this author.
