And just like that… I will now be ignoring screaming children in public. 😅

This was a quick read that brought me out of a thriller/horror slump.

A great little read! There's plenty of supernatural creepiness here, but some of the main horror comes from having your world turned inside out, and the sudden appearance of a child when you are ChildFree.
The child himself is both a horrendous little shit in the real world, and a demonic horror. There's some nice body horror too, and I couldn't really guess where the story would go. The pacing is very good, and the length fits the story really well. The ending gets a bit nuts and there were several point where my heart skipped a beat at the horrors on the page.
A brilliant, dark read!
