The second volume added layers of complexity to an already intriguing story. Bring on Volume 3!

Second chapter done and dusted, as promised, and the story deepens glacially. All is not as it seemed, and the long game of this comic series begins to reveal itself. The spacebound part of the story seemed nearly to take a backseat to the Earthbound political manipulations this time out, when in the first volume, they were more balanced, at least in terms of time spent. Still good stuff, though, as before, the art style here will not be to everyone's liking - the physicality of people, weird shadowing and hard angles are a little jarring until the eye acclimates, then I was pretty much good to go.

Same comments as last time. Manly manly bulging muscles and guns and things all the time, plus hyper-sexualized females.
If I roll my eyes enough and ignore that stuff, the rest of the story is still pretty interesting, though I was preeetty close to giving up after one point.
Still curious, still gonna keep on reading...
