As someone who loves Hank Green's YouTube videos, this was a super fun read. The characters are perfectly tuned to the story and the plot is full of element, that peaked my interest individually. It also seems thouroughly researched, everything seeming realistic even if it should happen to be unconventional.

The jokes seemed a bit stiff sometimes (especially in tweets) but I would believe that this wouldn't have happened if the translator chose a more relaxed syntax/punctuation.

The arc of suspense was a bit weak and too straightforward at times, but in the end, it still worked out beautifully and I wouldn't want to change a thing about it!

I’m so speechless, that was excellent I have nothing to add. I was so worried the hype was BS, now I know it was not. Hank Green, you’re a genius. It’s like this book was MADE for me, helloooo queer people, political tension, a loveable but formidable being who is also perhaps a friend or maybe a foe? UGH LOVE LOVE LOVE.

I would give the book a much higher rating, but Hank Green managed to write one of the worst protagonists I've ever come across. Fuck, April May is just awful. I was rooting for her death from beginning to end of this damn book. She's just a pure scumbag to everyone around her. Annoying. I love the way Hank Green can explain any topic to a wide audience so I was really excited for this book when I found it. It was a really interesting premise, just really slow at times. Tackles a lot of modern problems, but no real satisfying conclusion (curse you sequels!!)

This was an interesting reading experience. I was interested in the story, but I didn’t love it. The characters were intriguing and I liked April for the most part she’s unlikable(that’s the point), but it was frustrating to read at times. This was funny and interesting and I learned a lot about some random topics which I enjoyed. I did also like the commentary about fame as well as like hate groups and humanity. I think I will continue on with the series because the ending was kind of shocking and I did enjoy the last 100 pages a lot. I also like how this was told and how the narrator would speak to us at times.

A real page turner that honestly killed me. It was thought-provoking and engaging and filled with juicy nuggets of random information that my brain will forever store. Immediately ordered the next book in the series because I desperately need to know what happens next!
