A definite guilty pleasure book. I read these pretty much all in a big rush. Forever ago I looked at the website and promptly forgot about it. This was full of crazy secrets. It runs the gamut from happy to downright depressing. I loved the extra stories from the postal worker and hearing how in some cases folks were able to help others in need. I have never sent in a secret.

For me, PostSecret has never been about 'the perfect secret' or controversial secrets or anything. It's always just been about the secrets - they're kind of a small window on other people's lives. For that, this book is chock full of them (and the news that Frank Warren may not be doing the project for much longer.) It was certainly a good way to pass a few minutes at a time, flipping a couple of pages.

I liked the idea of the book, but it was kind of strange in application. Basically, this dude has a ton of people send him secrets on post cards. Super cool idea! I probably would have enjoyed this book better if it was either organized by the kinds of secrets or just had a general theme of secrets. For instance, you’d read a really sad and deep secret that just makes you think (such as a picture of a casket of a fallen soldier with the caption “I wish I could have died instead of him”) is followed by a secret about adultery as a joke on the exact same page. Kind of defeats the purpose of the beautiful secrets. Anyway, cool idea, but not ab amazing execution.

Omg I used to be obsessed with PostSecret! I completely forgot about this project up until yesterday when I stumbled upon this book at the library! I loved reading this!

This is what I read tonight instead of my book club book. If I don't finish that book in time for our meeting tomorrow night, I'm not sorry.

The best of all PostSecret books I've read (and there's only one that escaped from me)! More than just the secrets, this one has stories from the PS Universe: texts from Frank, secrets that generated responses from others, a big section with secrets from the app (which unfortunately had to be removed from app stores some years ago).

We are invited to join the community of PS lovers, and participate on their own journey through the secrets. We meet their emotions, their feelings, their responses. And *that* is much richer than the previous experiences!!

I would give 6 stars, if I could.
