Cute story. I wasn't prepared for the twist. I thought I had it figured out but was pleasantly surprised to see it. I did want more of a resolution of how the ending came about with the coach.

The only reason I gave this book four stars is because reading about Tobias in the beginning I almost didn’t finish. But holy crap his character development was actually unreal. He gives off Garrett Graham vibes but definitely a lot more cocky(yeah i didn’t think that was possible either). Definitely a lot of plot twists but this book was so good I couldn’t put it down. Then again I should have known, Meagan Brandy never disappoints.

Another great Read

Like all of Megan's books, this one is filled with emotion.
From the very first page, you come to know both main characters. At the beginning you get a sense of cockiness from Tobias and I was initially worried if I was going to like his Character. But I needn't have worried!
Straight away you feel sorry for Meyer. You realise early that she has a lot going on and you figure out quickly the reason for that.
Meyer is a tutor, and on top of her responsibilities, she helps Avix U's athletes that are struggling with their studies, one of those students is Tobias.
Tobias is your typical jock, or soo we are lead to believe. He is the star pitcher on the baseball team and is very close with his Coach. The coach does what he can for his players, and keeps them out of trouble. He isn't sure why Meyer isn't like everyone else and falls all over him, in fact she barely looks at him and is so focused on study.
All through the book Tobias is fighting an internal battle with himself over Meyer and does everything he can to spend more time with her.
They start to become close and feelings are developed. It's around this time that other secrets start to be revealed and one I didn't see coming!
I enjoyed the dual POV of the story, because you get to feel and understand what both characters are going through. You realise that Tobias is so much more than a cocky jock and you realise how he came to be this way.
I cant say too much more without giving the secrets away, but like all Megan's books, this is written in a way that allows you to feel the characters emotions and you hurt right along with them.
Tobias grew a lot through the book and I came to love him as a character! He really was kind and understanding, a real sweetheart!

If you haven't read any of Megan's books yet, you are missing out! It's currently free on Kindle Unlimited, or if you're like me you'll want to purchase all of meagans books so you can read then over again!

- College Romance
- Student/Tutor relationship
- Secrets that could tear them apart
- Sport Romance

⭐️ 5 “No Lie” Stars ⭐️
Dirty Curve was so much more than what I was anticipating! Don't get me wrong! I had high hopes about this story, because I love Meagan Brandy’s writing and the blurb was so alluring, but this story was emotionally deeper than what I first expected.

The plot got so messy and then so confusing hahaha We love Mr. Tobias you can't break up with me Cruz. My girl needed that energy, but also her personality just never really locked in. Like who she was in his POV vs her pov vs that flashback. Them were not the same girlies. Enjoyed the ride for the most part!
