So short! Good for what is is, I think? I don’t read much medieval horror, but even then I found a lot of the story predictable. Even still, descriptions were great I wasn’t ever bored. Just felt like a quick story to consume though.

The first two stories have incredible production quality in the audiobook! Practically an audio drama which was quite fun.

His Black Tongue was the highlight and main focus of the collection-though the tone shifts quite a bit in the last act from a tense mystery to a Catholic Anime Battle. The Bone Fields simply did not capture me in the same way though it did create a wonderful sense of doom in the end. Unfortunately I found The Knights of the Non-Euclidian Round Table to be quite bad and did not enjoy its depiction of the knights as hardline Christians.

I absolutely need more audiobooks to have some sound effects. It added so much to the atmosphere!
