This is the last book in the series. Marlowe, an Oscar winning actress is with Rafe, who none of her friends can stand. Rafe shows his true colors one evening and we then see who Marlowe should be with, Sebastian. I really enjoyed seeing these two get their HEA. We also saw more of each of the other couples in this series. So sad to see this series end.

For a final book in a series, Marie Force hit it out of the park! It was fantastic diving again into the magical world of Quantum. In the past, as I read the other books, I laughed, cried and rejoiced in the HEA of the other partners. Now, in this one, we get to read about Marlowe’s love story. I was thrilled to see who is her love interest but was sworn to secrecy, so you will have to read the book to find out.

Marlowe is the best friend, the best actress, the best person around. As she herself says, being famous is her job, not who she is. When she arrived in Hollywood and lost her mother, Flynn took her in and became a mentor to her. He brought her into his family where they became her family too. When Hayden, Jasper, Kristian and Emmet join the company, they become like brothers to her. Then as they each fell in love and acquired a girlfriend/wife, these women became her friends. This Quantum group is like a family, the best kind there is because they are brothers and sisters of the heart.

As all the Quantum partners found their HEA, Marlowe rejoiced for them but also envied them. She also wanted that someone who completes you, the one you want to go to bed with all your nights and wake up with all your mornings. She was looking for love in all the wrong places and it didn’t bore well.

When something dramatic happens at the beginning of the book, the troop rallies around Marlowe and form a protection circle around her. Steps are taken for her security and action is taken to ensure the person responsible is destroyed, not physically but professionally and financially. In the midst of the crisis, Marlowe finds her love where she least expects it and now has to convince her love that she is his and he is hers.

There is some suspense in the book, but it’s mostly about love growing, love developing, a couple finding their groove, the whole Quantum group enjoying their closeness and their soon to be born babies, and the support and love they give each other. Falling in love with a movie star as talented as famous as Marlowe is nerve-racking for everyone and it’s easy to feel unworthy and not enough. It’s Marlowe job to convince her love that all she wants is her man, his love and his forever.

“I should get up, leave the room, walk away from her while I still can. Except I can’t seem to do anything but breathe and wish I was a better man so I would deserve a woman like her.”

This book was charming, enchanting, a bit cheesy at times but beautifully so, and so full of family love, friends love, support and giving and generosity that I loved even the kinky parts that are not my favorite thing. Everything in this book was sublime and it was a fantastic end to this series. There’s an additional epilogue that adds even more loving and heart-warm feelings to the story.

I loved this story so much. I was dragged in from the very beginning. I was gasping on the edge of my seat. I was swooning and fanning myself. I was heartbroken at times and at times I adored how much heart was actually in this story. It is an intense and passionate friends-to-lovers rollercoaster and I did not want to finish. I wanted it to keep going. I can't wait to see what is next from Marie Force.

Loved it!

This was an awesome end to the Quantum series! It's ironic because when Marie started the series, I was hesitant to read it with the BDSM being such a departure from her other work and what I normally read, but the characters and stories were so well developed and complex and interesting that you immediately loved them, and now I'm sad to say goodbye. I didn't expect to enjoy Marlowe's story as much, because I don't like the Dominatrix/submissive male trope at all, but I knew Marie would write a great story, and she exceeded my expectations! Her top notch dialogue and ability to juggle and weave multiple interpersonal relationships into a story are second to none! And can I just say that Sebastian was the dark horse of the group as far as book boyfriends go! Wow!! If you want lots of heat, emotion, love, drama, banter, and more heat, check out this book and the rest of the series!!❤️

Well written, and different from what I typically gravitate toward, Famous explores the BDSM lifestyle in a way that is thoughtful, romantic, and compelling. This is the first of the series that I've read, and may have to go back and read the rest, even though BDSM novels aren't typically my thing.

TW: physical and emotional abuse.

I really do like this book. More than I expect. It is a very interesting to see both of the main characters are Doms. Usually the hero is the Dom and the heroine is the sub. It is very refreshing that Miss Force put a bit twist on her story. Miss Force slowly becoming my new favorite author. Her writing is so good. The theme is simple but with that sweet twist.

In this book, Sebastian is not just a tough alpha male hero, but he is also vulnerable. He is not afraid to show his feeling to Marlowe. And I am swooning over him. He is this perfect Dom. I never read other book in this series, but I do want to read other books in this series.

Oh BTW, this book has many triggers especially domestic abuse. The character chemistry is off the chart and the sex is hot as a BDSM.

I enjoy it very much.

This pairing didn't surprise me. I do have a few points where it fell really super flat for me:
1) of all the Quantum series books as far as I can remember all the characters are white (or maybe white passing?-maybe someone will correct me here) which is fine but also the first of this series is written in 2015 and the setting is LA so a bit unrealistic but more importantly- in Famous the hero is not white- which is great- but the representation is off putting- just like a bam- here's your diversity character with not as much development as I would have liked- except the part that stuck out for me is that he was from Compton and was previously part of a gang. Left some major ick factors (playing into lots of stereotypes) here even if he does end up being a generally sweet person.
2) the interruptions of other characters getting a second epilogue in this book was slightly off putting but also I'm sure readers demanded it so I get it
3) there was a really random character (Quisha) the "trans woman I recently hired" which was not expanded on- just throwing some random person into this world that is LGBTQIA+?

I can't believe this amazing series has come to an end. But wow does it go out with a bang. With a story that is stunningly captivating and enthralling. As well as brutally raw, honest, funny, genuine and extremely relatable. And I completely adored Sebastian, who really comes into his own and turns out to be the perfect guy for Marlowe. Who is equally fantastic; and as two people who love to dominate I was extremely intrigued to find out how that would work when they explored a relationship together. Yet for me this story is about so much more than BDSM and it really hits on emotions and issues that are exceedingly relevant. And I truly adored every moment of it, plus, I loved how well all the other couples were included in some ways and how the epilogue perfectly rounded things off not only for Marlowe and Sebastian, but Natalie and Flynn and, all the other couples at Quantum. And I would highly recommend Famous and the Quantum Series itself to all.
