Snow White, Rapunzel, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty agree to swap lives only to realize they are better off talking about and solving their own problems. Lovely rhymes, beautiful illustrations, and fun characters.

Are you in a rut? Get outta Dodge and try someone else's life on for size. Then come back home with the energy you need to make your changes.

Very nice re-imagining of 4 classic fairy tales. I enjoyed that the princesses all went out to experience the world then used that knowledge to improve their situation.

It's so hard to write a book that reimagines classics, but this book is incredibly clever! Don't let the cover fool you -- it has so much to offer for both girls and boys.

I wouldn't use this for a storytime because princesses are the most annoying, but I can see giving this to a parent who needs to bring home a princess book but is sick of disney.

The illustrations as just knock off Kate Beaton, but not at all funny.

Pretty darn cute and clever! We loved the rhyming and introduction of new vocab for my 6 year old. We liked how the characters' stories were reinvented.

Sleeping Cinderella and Other Princess Mix-Ups by Stephanie Clarkson came to me as a first-reads from a Goodread's Giveaway and is the tale of four princesses who become disgruntled with their lives and step into the shoes of another's princess's life for a change. These princesses find that nobody's life is perfect; it is better to live your own life and make it what you want it to be. Everybody has the power to change their own life to try to make it want they want it to be. This tale is girl empowering and brings a new and refreshing take on some old favorites. Very well done indeed.
