Loved, loved, loved Holly and Creighton and I think they got a great ending…although I would love to see a follow up! This still had hotness, but actually became a more developed story where you really got some insight into both Creighton and Holly and how they felt about each other and their relationship. You got to see how hard it was for them to commit to each other and then see how they would sacrifice everything for each other. Meghan also brought a couple of different characters into the story that hopefully we may get to read about later…some wishful thinking. I was actually sad to see this story end and felt a little letdown afterwards because I wanted more!

Read 6/26/2022 - Audiobook

The ending was so out of left field. This whole trilogy could have been one book, but I probably would have DNF'd it halfway through... so maybe splitting them up was smart. It was an ok series.

And … the ship sinks! After a stronger than expected Book 2, Ms. March ran out of plot in this book so made some odd choices which make me want to DNF this book. The first half of the story is fine with some bits which made me smile. I gave it 2 stars in the end for this first half. It’s a fast enough read so if you made it this far you might as well finish it.

The biggest issue with this book is that the hero and heroine declare their mutual love around 45% into the book. This makes the rest of the 55% of the story an extended epilogue; there is an attempt to resolve issues like Holly’s penchant for running but it’s hardly the focus. The egregious spoiler though it the ending; we get revelations which were not set up and which add nothing to the stories. We find out new information in the penultimate chapter - either it was there for future book or the author literally didn't know how to end this.
Spoiler 83% to 87% into the book we find out that Crey’s father is a mafia don. And this so-called father makes an appearance in a literal flash of light. It was one of the most comically bad scenes I have read in a long while. It made this book so over-the-top that it was ruined for me.

There was less going on on the last book, I really wish it was just one book. I liked there was more growth on this one

My favorite part of this book--in the entire trilogy!--had to be Creighton. His evolution as a male lead character wasn't drastic nor rushed. Even he didn't fully understand at force why he was reacting differently when it came to Holly, but we see him go through changes, and it's his willingness to make adjustments in order to make his new wife happy and secure that had me standing up and applauding. Yes, he was every bit the alpha male, and he makes no apologies for being that way, but he's also sweet and loving. His tenacity as a businessman works for him in the pursuit of his shooting country star slash bride.

Even though this third book concludes the Dirty Billionaire series, there are a few supporting characters who I certainly wouldn't mind getting to know even better in the future, namely, Greer Karas (Crey's younger sister), Cannon Freeman (Crey's best friend and his COO), and Logan Brantley (Holly's friend and admirer). Hint, hint, Meghan March! That's what happens when you give readers characters that you end up becoming curious about. But back to Creighton and Holly Karas...Dirty Together wrapped the trilogy quite nicely and I'm giving book three five stars and the trilogy as a whole receives an average of 4.5 stars. ♥
