ACAB but I still adored this book! You could tell that the author is a childrens author as well but I thought everything was just so cute and sweet. I was unable to put it down and I just loved all of it. Also, I imagined John as a Charlie Swan from Twilight and it just helped me love his character. Its a sweet book but I would definitely recommend it to others!!

Molly and John's story was my favorite from the Little Bridge series. I always enjoy a heroine who loves reading as much as I do and Molly was also kind and deeply cared about her community and the people in it. John also cares about his community in his own way but they sometimes disagree about how much people need support versus consequences. The conflict itself felt real but maybe oversimplified. Molly came off as naive for someone her age at times. I liked that both characters grew and opened up to the other character's perspective. I loved that John was so supportive of his daughter and put his whole heart into being there for her. I expected Molly to step in and help out with the mother daughter dance but it was refreshing to see John do it with Molly's support.

"He was a man, and men were so...well, mysterious. No matter how many books she read, she didn't think she'd ever understand them." - No Offense by Meg Cabot

If you are looking for a light-hearted, witty and charming romance novel, you can never go wrong with Meg Cabot. No Offense is a wonderful mix of romance, mystery, intrigue and ultimately, comedic fun.

Molly Montgomery, the new librarian of the children's section of Little Bridge Island's library adores her job at the beautiful island. Nothing seemed to faze her - until she finds an abandoned baby in the bathroom of the library.

The little island is caught in the frenzy as they rumours started to circulate about the poor newborn - and Sheriff John Hartwell is determined to put a stop to it. Uptight, grumpy yet undeniably attractive, he is a distraction to Molly, and vice versa. Nolly tries to get to the bottom of the mystery, although it is hard to do so when she inadvertently intervenes in every single step of the Sheriff's investigation.

The story exudes charm and wit, filled with humour and warmth as the tight-knit island community lends a hand in the investigation in the most intrusive, yet affectionate ways. I adored the way the story is filled with wisps of mystery, yet it also brims with endearment in the bonds that are formed as the island cares for their newest resident, lovingly named baby Aphrodite. The story is full of light-hearted fun and romance, a truly entertaining and heartwarming read that you will definitely enjoy.
