You Shouldn’t Have Come Here by Jeneva Rose is the second book I’ve read by her this weekend. Again, it didn’t disappoint!
This story was so good! Jeneva has a way of hooking readers in the first chapter and keeping them intrigued until the last page. This book was no different. I couldn’t put it down. The twist at the end, the tension, the mystery and thriller aspect were everything.
This book follows Grace who needs a vacation and she comes to Wyoming to get away for a while and Calvin the owner of the Airbnb who turns out to be a bit too friendly. Throughout the book, Grace finds herself in different odd situations and it all points back to Calvin. By the end of the book we learn Calvin’s secrets, but Grace has a few secrets if her own.
I enjoyed this book so much and it’s a 4 star for me!

Told through alternating POVs. We have Grace trying to get away from her busy city life rents a room in Calvin’s Wyoming ranch Airbnb. From the start there is something unsettling going on that I couldn’t quite put my finger on. The more the story went on the more unreliable both Calvin and Grace became in their POVs. Just when I thought I figured it out BOOM something happens that changed my mind. Serious whiplash with both of these unreliable characters. It was definitely a slow thriller, there was even some “romance” going on in the first half.
Overall I really enjoyed this one and did not expect the ending at all but if I have to hear “BLUE BLUE EYES” one more time I’m going to lose my mind!!!! We get it. They’re blue. Which turned out to be ironic because of the ending but it didn’t need THAT much emphasis.

I didn't realize how easily a bad ending can ruin your entire reading experience. Welp.

I was not a fan of the romance in this book. The ending however, I enjoyed immensely!
