GAHHHH this book was so fun I loved it!!! Such a lovely escape into a fantasy world inspired by the wonder and life that lies within books. I loved the characters and the storylines and their growth and the emotions and the EMOTIONAL GROWTH they all go through to get to where they end up… all in ONE BOOK AND NOT A TRILOGY FOR ONCE. Can you tell I just finished reading and am feeling all the feels about it??
Was it a perfect book? Not by any means. Did I love the characters? Undoubtedly. Did I love the world and the plot? Without question. Did I read it in two days? Also yes. So therefore, I would absolutely recommend!

you know, my number one fav thing about this book is that the author managed to build a whole world and tell
an entire story within just one book. not everything needs to be a trilogy.
but it was fun! i loved the grimoires having such personality and elisabeth being a true child of the library and nathaniel being such a golden hearted grump and silas being silas. plot kept up at a high pace, and the world was very interesting. great!

i’m left speechless after finishing this book. so desperate to read the novella right now! loved the characters and their relationships & friendships. such a fun fantasy book for lovers of books and magic!!! 4.5 Stars!
