My only critique about this book is I think it’s a little short. Other than that loved everything about it.

I didn’t hate this book, but I also only finished it because I prefer not to quit. I’m sure you’ll love it if you enjoy an instant love story, but I prefer more of a slow burn. Also, this story was every bit as predictable as I feared it would be in the first few chapters. Obviously it’s well liked by a lot of readers, just not my thing.

Written in third person. I just don't connect with books not written in first person.

Dare to Resist, the first book in Carly Phillips new Dare Nation series was a great read. That caught my attention from the very start, thanks to its fast-paced nature, and the characters themselves. Not to mention the romance between Quinn and Austin which was full of sparks and utterly absorbing, and I loved how Ms Phillips blended different tropes together to create a storyline that was not only interesting but entertaining. And as starts to series go, I thought this was a really enjoyable one, and I'm looking forward to reading more from this series in the future.
Would happily recommend.
