I’m all over the place on this one but I’m really enjoying it. I don’t mind a slow burn, but this one is a bit too long and bit too repetitive. We had the same ‘Johnny takes Shan for a spin’ arc too many times and it just never seemed to move the story forward.
With that being said, I love Johnny and Shan and will protect them at all cost! I’m loving this little found family that seems to be blossoming for Shannon. Lord knows she deserves it!
I wasn’t gonna start book 2 right away, but now I’m conflicted! I need to know what happens next.

This book wrecked me. It was beautiful and cruel and so much more. Haven‘t cried over a book in a long time. It‘s earth shattering. To see into a world no one talks about, a world I am so glad to have never had to experience, a world that is so essential to talk about.
