Wonderful story set in ww2 England about two sisters, the choices they make, and trying to live with those decisions. A book I could not put down.

This was a four-star read until I listened to the author's thought process behind the story. Somehow knowing the motivation behind the story and her process in creating it made me appreciate it all the more.

I started this one on audio a couple years ago but the narrator got on my nerves, so I stopped listening. I picked this up again - in print - recently because I was looking for something easy and light for summer. This is the story of two sisters who get separated during the London Blitz. It was entertaining enough for a weekend, but it's not a must-read.

Read this to check off an item on my reading list. I'm happy I did picked it. Good story, sad, moving and had a happy ending.
