This was a book suggested for me, and wasn't originally something I probably would have picked up for myself.

I'm so glad that I did! I loved the characters and atmosphere and slight magical nature of it.

While I didn't think anything was surprising or unpredictable, I don't think it was trying to be that. So it was perfect for what it was.

I listened to this on audio, but now I think I need a copy for my personal library.

Personally the atmosphere and the mystery in this book were addictive. I couldn’t put this book down at all. The drama, the atypical found family, and time travel all made for a great experience. (P.s. if you don’t like cozy atmosphere and detailed descriptions this won’t be for you)

An atmospheric book about time travel, grief, loss, love, and making the right choices, this emotional story of June's quest to stop the curse of the Farrow women is a great read for those who enjoy mystery novels.

I liked this book because of how it approached time travel, how the pieces of the puzzle wove together, how the characters make all of it happen out of the truest form of love, and Young's prose. This is my first time reading a book by this author, and the way that they write brings such vivid images to your mind that you feel as if you yourself are experiencing the characters' visions and memories. And this was the coolest part about reading this book because the immersion is sudden, vivid and jarring, and mirrors June's experience with the curse. I love when books make you feel exactly how the characters feel.

There was also a lot of flower language and animal symbolism woven throughout the story, which I thought was fitting because the family runs a flower farm. It was fun to look up what the plants mean in flower language and interpret what they symbolise within the story.

The idea of this book has so much potential! I didn't feel as drawn in to the characters as I wanted to be. I found myself not really caring about them or understanding them on much more than a surface level. I was a little thrown off by the syntax as well. It felt a little clunky. I found myself having to re-read sentences often. However, the idea of the story kept me reading until the end. There are many sweet and lovely moments and the mystery (though predictable) was still fun to follow and uncover.
