When Charlie runs into Eliza, she doesn't seems to pleased to see him. It seems like the first time they met it was awkward. Eliza would go into the shop next door to her almost every morning and play the piano. Then she found that the owner no longer owned the business...instead Charlie does. Charlie and Eliza start hanging out together, to help Eliza be more "wild and adventurous". Until they both start developing feelings for each other that neither are ready to admit to. Eliza realized that her love for Charlie runs deep and they are her perfect love story..

Cut Free gives you feelings you didn't realize you can have. The characters are great together. The story line makes it perfect!

This was such a great read, I just loved how awkward Eliza was and how dedicated Charlie was in getting to know her. The flow of the story and how we see Eliza and Charlies relationship grow and evolve was so natural and there were so great lol moments ie their banter when running and the awkward almost kiss times. There is definitely the will they wont they moments and Eliza's friends are soo lovable that I will have to go back and read the previous books in the series as this is my first to read. If you are looking for a great read with characters you can relate to as well as feel connected to and a story that just draws you in and leaving you wanting more then this is the book for you!

Blink if you should read this book? Did you blink? Good, start reading! I loved Eliza and Charlie’s relationship. It was great to see how Charlie treated Eliza so well. He let her play piano in his shop, wrote her adorable notes, and even trained for a marathon with her. I have really enjoyed the author’s writing and look forward to more of her work in the future.

Oh how much did I love Eliza! We have seen her really come into her own and get more comfortable in her own skin throughout the series, with the most positive changes in this book. Charlie was so amazingly fantastic, but this book was more about Eliza. I love this series! It has quickly become a favorite and this author really tells a very well rounded story. I can picture this town in my mind and I wish I could pop into the salon and have a chat with the ladies. I'm excited to read Laurels story, she's a trip, but Eliza and Charlie were super fun, unpredictable, and super HOT! Well balanced story I did not want to put down the only thing I didn't like was that it ended and we don't get Laurels story until late fall. Wonderful book I devoured in one sitting, I definitely recommend it!

Cut Free absolutely wowed me. It's beautifully written and a great combination of sweet, sexy, witty, and fun. This is primarily Eliza's story, and her growth was so much fun to read. And Charlie! It's impossible not to love Charlie. He's understanding and easy going, and seems to know exactly how to push Eliza out of her comfort zone without going overboard. In most cases, at least. This is part of The Sublime series, but it works well as a standalone. Fair warning though, if you aren't already familiar with the wonderful characters of this series, you'll want to be. Each story is worth the read, but this one is certainly my favorite. It's a pretty low-angst romance, but more than that, it's a story of friendship and family - the family you make rather than the one you're born into. And it's a positively delightful read.

*I received an ARC for this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.*

I first read James and Frannie's story and fell in love with the this little world the author created. I immediately snatched up Rachel and Joe's story then signed up for the author's newsletter to get Anna and Will's novella. All of those stories made me so curious for Eliza's story.

Eliza recently ended a long term relationship that was borderline abusive. Her boyfriend was a jerk and she was extremely unhappy. Just as she was starting to learn how to live on her own she met Charlie, a tattooed artist and musician. They struck up an easy friendship where Charlie pushed her into adventures to grow and be less afraid. Eliza helped Charlie become more of an adult at the ripe old age of 34.

I loved their slow burn romance. It was a delight to see them go from acquaintances to friends to lovers. Their relationship was full of laughter and unconditional support. I seriously dreaded the inevitable crisis which ended up not being so bad and was fairly low angst.

I do recommend reading the series in order so you can see how the characters grow. I love the author's writing style and the whole series makes me want to go to Tiber City and have my hair cut by these awesome women.

Eliza Goldberg is 28 and works at Salon 410 on Main Street. She has finally gotten out of a bad long term relationship with Edward and she is reluctant to risk falling for the wrong guy again.

Charlie Hamada is 34 and has just purchased a music shop and like to enjoy life the best he can.

When Eliza and Charlie unexpectedly meet, Charlie realizes Eliza is someone he wants to spend more time with but also realizes he can't push her.

When Eliza realizes she wants more from Charlie and he isn't responding will she find someone else and when Eliza learns about Charlie's past will she run?

This was a great book and I was looking forward to Eliza getting a real chance at love after watching her relationship with Edward in the previous books.

I liked Eliza and was really hoping she would find someone that was right for her. I loved how her friendship with Charlie started and how he started to introduce her to new things and experiences. I was a little frustrated with what happened with Alex as I didn't feel like she had been open enough with Charlie to let him know what she wanted.

I thought Charlie was great and I loved how he lived his life. I hated how it took Alex to force him into action.

So I was a little frustrated at the dinner with the band. I knew that Charlie did not mean anything bad by his actions and everything just blew up out of control and then the result of everything. I was surprised at how Eliza reacted and I felt like there was more to that story line that was never answered enough for me.

The run was awesome with everything that Charlie did. It ended on such a high note!

Great series and I do hope we get more!

Eliza Goldberg likes her set schedule. Is there someone out there that can take her outside her comfort zone? Charlie Hamada seems to be in the right place at the right time. I loved how there was awkwardness as Charlie gets to know Eliza. They both seem easygoing as they get to know each other.

The whole story seemed to have that vibe where you had no choice but to relax as you read about the growing relationship between our main characters. And we get to chuckle and that can never be a bad thing. I enjoyed the secondary characters as well but there were a couple of times where I felt something was missing – I know, I have some reading to catch up on. This is a standalone so it’s not necessary but we have secondary characters that are important to Eliza and they deserve a chance for me to see why they are so important to Eliza. Plus I want to see if they get a romantic ending like I read here.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
