i didnt really know what to expect with this book but i enjoyed it i think. i thought her character development was a little rushed (although i did like how it didn’t seem out of the realm of possibility)

lucy is just such a hot mess and it's quite entertaining. i don't really root for her a bunch though because she's just such a mess and she often acts really silly, silly in ways that i can only laugh at and not support. in truth, i don't remember much about this book but i feel like i enjoyed reading about her struggles so there's that.

I gave this book 5 stars mostly because it came to me when I needed it the most. I’ve been struggling with the same thoughts the main character fights with - I am a bad person that deserves bad things. I cried near the end because she does the right things (things plural) and is surrounded by so much love. It’s not a perfect ending but there is no perfect ending when you’re 25. I am thankful for this book for coming to me when I needed it the most.
