What can I say about this book? It's beautifully written. There are no words to describe how much I love this book. From the characters, to the plot, to the raw emotion; everything was just beautiful. This was my first angst-y type book and I wasn't disappointed. I don't know if it's because I'm a emotional person, but I went through 4 emotions just in the prologue, including me crying. Thank you M for making me cry in the prologue (sarcasm).

Complicate Me is about best friends since childhood, Alex or Half-Pint and Lucas or Bo. As the title suggests everything about their life is complicated. This is the first book in the Good 'Ol Boys standalone series, which includes the other friends; Jacob, Dylan, and Austin. Alex is the youngest and the only girl in the group, growing up a tomboy. This story is mainly about can friends since birth be more than friends without complicating others involved. Answer: It's complicated. The boys see Alex as a little sister, so you know that they're going to be protective over her, no matter who it is, that includes Lucas.

Lucas has caused Alex a lot of heartache through out the years, so in a way I didn't want them together even though I love them together. You can tell they were meant for each other, but I didn't like the way he treated her, even though he was a teenager.

I'm not very good at giving great reviews when I'm emotional, and this book defiantly left me in a emotional mess by the end of it. I finished it earlier today and I still can't function properly. I highly recommend this read if you love a good emotional read. A Complicated Love story (I'm trying to be punny and it's not going too well).

P.S. I can't wait for the next book, so I can read about my spirit animal Lily. Besides Alex, Lily was my favorite character in the book.

Yeah yeah I am one of those... everyone likes the book but me. It has bloody 4. Some stars ... how? And why?

I have nothing against it and the writing is not bad.. it's just that... the Concecration between and 11 year old and 13 old is so fucked up... 13 year old is making out aggressively with a girl and 11 year old tomboy is hurt.. that I can understand. What I don't understand is there "love".

I absolutely love a story with "friends forever to lovers" and "Loved you forever but just didn't say it aloud" or "friends to lovers" stuff. But this is ridiculous. That kind of deep conversations between kids?? Maybe I am in wrong? 16% and 11 year old girl saying "My dress is really soft. I don't think I've ever felt material this soft before. I like it. I mean I don't fill the dress out like other girls--"

And the 13 year old boy replies "You're perfect".

Tell me if I am wrong.. that's just wrong between two kids.. they can be stupid but not so abnormally grown up. Right?? Or am I too old for this shit?? I am 33. I am sorry but I am done with this.

I really enjoyed this book. The emotions in the book are so powerful and heartfelt. I was captivated from the first page. Once I started I didn't want to stop until I was finished. The characters are so easy to get to know. With as muc as i wanted to throttle them from time to time, I enjoyed all of them.

While Alex is close with all four of her boys, she has a special bond with Lucas "Bo". Seperately they are Alex and Lucas, together they are "Half Pint and Bo". They have been best friends since the day she was born. Their bond gets stronger on a daily basis, but how are kids supposed to understand what it means. Bo promises her that he will never hurt her, he will never walk away. But over the years he sucks her and everything around him into his own personal hurricane.

The book is described so vividly I can picture every scene as if it were unfolding right in front of me. The characters, their emotions and the experiences they went through are so well depicted you feel as if you are in the ook with the characters.

I highlyrecommend to romance lovers and look forward to the next book.

I have really enjoyed this story, but someone needs to edit this book, please! The grammar and punctuation is horrendous. Did no one edit this?

I can't find the right words to describe this book. I am speechless, this was not my first book by M. Robinson and it definitely won't be the last.

This book was in my TBR list for so long, I guess I wasn't in the mood for something like that. But boy was I ever wrong!. I loved every second I spent reading this book, it was sweet torture. This book was about a bunch of friends who grew up together, Dylan, Jacob, Austin, Lucas and Alex. It tells the heartbreaking love story of Lucas and Alex. We get to see everything they went through from their childhood to their adulthood, and I would be lying if I said that I didn't hurt for them, that I didn't cry for them, that my heart didn't break for them. I would really be lying.

But just like they said "everything happens for a reason ", and that was the truth. This was another breathtaking book by M. Robinson, I just loved it the was she wrote every single word that had me mesmerized, I just couldn't get enough. It's by far the book of the year for me.

I'm giving this 3.5 stars. If you're into the kind of book with an extremely prolonged "will they, won't they" then this is right up your alley! Me not so much. There were parts of this book I absolutely adored which mainly involved Bo and Half-Pint at their best. I just felt that the stubbornness of them not being together was taken a little to far and I didn't even get to truly enjoy them together enough.

Overall, it was definitely a page tuner and kept me hooked until the very end but could have used a little less drama in my opinion.

I feel like this should be put into the YA genre. 80% of the book is the main characters growing up and the H being a douchebag of epic proportions. I wanted to love this as much as I adored El Diablo but it never happened. I read until the end mostly to see how they actually ended up together, which was only 10 pages after YEARS of angst and drama and just bleh. I'm off to read Jacob and Lily now and hopefully fall inlove as much as I did with Alejandro.
