I really enjoy Michael Sullivan’s books and his interactions with his fans is also so amazing.

This book was extremely sad to get through at some points and the emotions flowed even though it’s a fantasy series. The whole series is amazing and each book just gets more and more interesting. So well written and put together.

What can I say except I loved it? Not a slow moment in the whole book. Keep tissues ready.

Easy 5 star read. Best of the series so far indeed!

I don't want to spoil anything for anyone, but there are numerous highly emotional moments in this book, and the story is both complex and completely engrossing.

Amazing.

Cant wait for Age of Legend now!

So many great reveals and with war of course there will be loss but it still hurts to read it happen. Technically the end to a trilogy and I'm glad the next three books in the Legends series were added. This is probably tied for my favorite book of all Riyria world or a close second.

SpoilerBy far the worst in the series. A certain character death was very poorly executed and I believe would have been much more effective if done in the previous novel. The finale was enjoyable though and Padera and Gifford's relationship asking with Raithe's arc taking a turn and Tesh beginning to join the group of main characters still makes this book much better than a lot of modern fantasy novels.
