Wow.

That was an amazing read that blew my mind away and made me realize that maybe I have a bit of Margo in my marrow as well. I want to right the wrongs of society, just not sure I want to do it with a pink Zippo. This story is about an average young woman who was raised to believe herself to be worth less than nothing. But when she's alone, finally, she realizes not only does she have more worth than she was brought up to believe, she has more strength. Perhaps too much because it soon grows out of control.

At the end of the book, Fisher explains what brought out Margo, it was a story and video of a woman beating a baby and because she felt so helpless, Fisher sat down and wrote out how she would deal with something like that with no repercussions. It was dark, twisted, and full of her own brand of justice and it was fiction. Until Margo was borne out of those words and then a serial vigilante was born.

I'm still a bit confused on the existence of a major character so I'm sure I'll re-read, which isn't something I usually do. But other than that, I loved "Marrow" as much as I loved the "Love me with lies" series. Can't wait to read "F*ck Love" and "Mud Vein". I found her through the "Never Never" series and love her quips with Colleen Hoover on FB and Instagram.

What the heck did I just read? Tarryn can weave stories like NO ONE else can. The details and intricacies leave you reveling and thinking about them for weeks, months. I'm still processing this one and will be for a while.

This book came highly recommended to me and sure it’s not very long and it sounds thrilling but for me it was very disjointed. That being said the writing reflects how erratic the character is. For me it was very much like reading a murderous Robin Hood with severe psychological issues.

Exhale

I didn’t realize this book is a feeder and bleeds into Mud Vain. So if you love Mud Vain you will enjoy this. We all have our demons some of us just never let them out to play. Margo was like a mom that doesn’t supervise her kids when it came to her demons. She just let them run wild and free, bet that feels good.

Jedna z najbardziej niepokojących książek jaką miałam okazję czytać. Dobra, nawet bardzo dobra, ale rzucająca się na głowę.

This was interesting to read and Tarryn Fisher has such an interesting ability with the craft. While the ending wasn't perfect, the way the story took me, both with pacing and just the elements in it, were fantastic.

I have to wonder if 2018 Amber would have loved this and I am kicking myself for waiting to read it.
