Interesting but I was kind of confused for some of this, but I'm still really interested in continuing on.

I think it's a little bit ridiculous that Marvel started renumbering titles at 1 all over again. I also dislike the fact that they only released this one in paperback, after I bought all of the rest of Waid's run in hardback.

But none of those things speak to the story or the art at all. Chris Samnee's art is consistent and well-fitted to the story. And Waid's writing was good as always, but in this one, it felt a little less grounded than usual. Perhaps something about moving Daredevil across the country left the storytelling a little unrooted as well.

Sadly, the graphics in the actual comic book don't come close to measuring up to the beautiful cover art.

Great start to the Mark Waid run! Also the first Daredevil comic that I'm reading after watching the show so it feels like a direct sequel almost, with his whole move and everything!! Can't wait to finish itÂ
