This book get a 1 star, mainly because it was hard to read because of the main charcater. Felicity(MC), is just too in her hard to listen to anyone and she come off as being very annoying since the beggining. I love the representation of asexuality and all that as someone in the spectrum, but she just make the story very hard to finish. Is sad, as this was my first sapphic book , but I hope I find more books I'll like in the future around the same genre. Nothing wrong with the author I am willing to read more of her books in the future.

I wanted to drop this book every single page but I really wanted to see it through since I've already dropped so many books this year.
I have never read a story with such an outrageously rude entitled brat for a main character. Felicity was beyond exhausting, she was judgmental to everyone and her treatment towards her mom was beyond terrible. Everything was about Felicity All. The. Time. She didn't care for her friends feelings. She didn't care about her moms feelings or care to acknowledge the insane amount of privilege she had because of her wonderful mom. Her hatred for her so called enemy was so unbelievably outrageous. Someone needs to give this girl a reality check. But oh wait. Don't worry, she suddenly learns the world doesn't revolve around her in like the last chapter of the book. #RedemptionArc

I'm trying to read diversely and read more characters that have lived experiences different than mine. Weirdly I find some of the best examples of diverse characters to be in YA books. This book had a fat character (who I did identify with) who was also Ace (not an experience I identify with) so it's always nice to read new life experiences.

There was one point where the main character's anxiety caused her to be annoyed at her mother (I think that's who it was) and she was just mad that her mom wouldn't help plan and commit and the annoyance ran straight into borderline rage and I know a lot of people won't find that believable or will find it very strange but I have had that exact same experience happen so I was able to entirely relate to it.

Overall cute little read with interesting characters.

Sweet young adult romance. I feel like having Felicity's internal monologue will help some aero/ace kids who are trying to figure it out too. LOVED her mom LOL.
