Awe I love Kade with his daughter! That is the best thing about this book in my opinion. I didn't love this book but I did enjoy Skylar & Kade''s story, it was HOT and sweet. While they have an unconventional start, they find their way. I really did enjoy all the relationships in this book. Skylar & India for example, even though they didn't have an easy life or easy relationship, in the end they are sisters and they watch out for each other.
I'm feeling like a broken record with the narration but it really bothers me that she doesn't give any of the characters an accent. They are cowboys and in my head they have a southern accent.

This was so entertaining, sweet and sexy! Kane was awesome. Great addition to the series!
Kane was awesome, I adored him. He was just so sweet and willing to do just about anything for those he cares for. Skylar I liked, she's was rather stubborn and had serious control issues so I didn't love her but I got her. It was really fun watching Kane and Skylar come together, their easy acceptance of the situation and all their ups and downs and hot sexy time.
This was a fast paced, light, easy read that was just outright entertaining. I enjoy all the McCay and West family craziness and the awesome male bonding between the brothers and cousins. I have to say though, there are so many different characters to keep track of, it can get overwhelming and make me feel like I need a family tree so I know who is who. Sometimes all the connections feel like to much. There's a lot of cowboy speak and twangy inflections just like the other books, I roll with it as best as I can but sometimes it feels overdone.
Honestly with these books, I go in wanting fun and sexy times, something that's not taxing and easy to enjoy. That's totally what I got. I'm also a sucker for a happily ever after and this story had an awesome one. Great read! Sweet and sexy and heartfelt all rolled into one. When I read these stories, I know exactly what I’m going to get – fun and heat!

Tied Up, Tied Down is definitely my favorite Rough Riders book so far. This one was not at all like the previous three because this one, while still being erotica, actually seemed to focus more on the romance. It focused on the relationship between Kade McKay and Skylar Ellison. You got to see them grow as people, individually but also together; you got to see them struggle to be family not just for themselves but for their precious baby girl while still trying to come to terms with their feelings for each other. Another thing I loved about this book was the fact that Kade was the one who was in love with Skylar throughout the whole story. Most of the time it's the other way around and I really enjoyed seeing Kade love her so much while Sky struggled to realize that she loved Kade and that she had to give herself over to that love or else she'd never be completely happy.
I want Kade. I want to marry him, to have his babies, to be tied up so he can have his wicked way with me. Whatever. I just want him. He was as sweet as pie and pretty much the cutest thing ever. I absolutely adored seeing him with Eliza, knowing how much he wanted a family and kids of his own. The fact that he spent so much time with her and didn't mind doing all the dirty work that comes with having a baby probably made me fall for him even more. He's, like, the perfect man! Also, I loved that he had a dominant streak but wasn't an utter jackass about it, like Colby, Carter, and hell even Cord were in their books. While he was completely intense about it, Kade didn't hurt Sky in any way and he even let her take the reins sometimes. Like I said, I want him. Please. Pretty please with a cherry on top of me.
I really liked Skylar, too, and I loved seeing her grow throughout the book with the help of Kade, Eliza, and Indy. I think that she was the person who needed to grow the most, especially within her relationship with Kade and it was interesting to see her transformation. Obviously she didn't change completely but it was enough to make it believable that she'd actually grown.
Colt, my adorable Colt...I love him even more. And I love my wonderful Cam even more too. I was very excited when Cam showed up at the family gathering. I loved that Cam and Colt, and their other cousins, protected Kade when that jackass was beating him up. I also liked seeing the transformation in Kane, even though I think it's ridiculous that he wants to be called "Buck" now. Silly man.
So, like I said, this book is definitely my favorite Rough Riders book so far, but I look forward to reading the rest of the series. I particularly look forward to rereading Branded As Trouble since I know who the hell everyone is now and Shoulda Been A Cowboy about my beloved Cam.

The chemistry was good between the H/h, but I kept wanting to shake Skylar. Yes, I know there's a history there, but a lot of evidence pointed to a change of heart for Kade but she kept stringing him along. Grrr...some people need to be shaken to see what's in front of them.
