I am a weeping mess. I did not ever read the Iliad in school. Most of my knowledge is from what's been adapted into film. [a:Madeline Miller|176372|Madeline Miller|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1322861610p2/176372.jpg] did an AMAZING job of taking a classic greek tragedy and making it digestible, entertaining, heartbreaking and telling it from dear wonderful Patroclus' point of view. And he certainly gave us his SONG of Achilles

Going back and actually reviewing my books 6/?

I so badly wanted to love this. Everyone I know who has read this loved it. But it just didn't click for me. I think for whatever reasons the writing and me didn't give. I found it difficult to connect. The end was very sad. But sadly i did not cry.
