This has been my first ever psychological thriller so it's hard to be fair. I definitely enjoyed it and although it's a thick book, you go through it so fast!
There are plenty of plot twists and I literally struggled to anticipate anything. It's smartly written, for sure!

More like a 3.5. It was interesting and kept my attention just requires some mental leaps/stretches for believability.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher through a Goodreads giveaway. I'm on the fence as to how to rate this book because it's a genre that I don't really enjoy or read often (I'm not sure if that's where my misgivings of this book stem from or not). I think if you enjoy quick thrillers or mystery/suspense thrillers you'd probably enjoy this book.
Things I like:
- The setting (London and Devon)
- The true portrayal of the art gallery scene
What I didn't like:
- Any of the characters, especially the main characters.
-The cynicism of the characters
The plot was okay and fairly believable. The writing was okay but not page turning/never putting the book down good. I am going to give my copy to some of my family who like this thriller genre and I'm sure they'll enjoy it.

I bought this book a couple of years back, intrigued by the cover, but ended up abandoning it by chapter 13. Giving it another shot later didn't make it any easier. The first half was bogged down by excessive detail, while the second half felt rushed, skipping over chunks of the timeline. It's a challenging read with a predictable storyline, so while I can't say it's a must-read, some might still find it worthwhile.

A relatively good time overall. One ‘complaint/comment’ is that it felt very… ambitious? It felt as though there were like, 5 different plots happening at the same time, and one after the other.
I was also a bit confused with the emotional experiences of Lily and what her overall outlook was supposed to be…
