I really liked it, but Renegade Omega was better.

This is an excellent foray into Omegaverse by Myra Danvers. Woo! *fans self* Its steamy and at times dark, and the characters are intriguing, especially the omega Renegade. It may look familiar to some as it is a redeveloped story by MD Pentacles, but it's drastically reworked with more story, new plot and so is well worth the time to read.

My only complaint is I need more, and this is book 1 of a series! But seriously, if you enjoy Omegaverse reverse harem style stories, this is a must read.

I read a sample from Amazon for this book when asked what to read after Addison Cain’s Stolen. I did not buy the book because it didn’t suck me in. I admit the cover is ideal for Addison’s book but this book has too many liquid descriptions and not enough plot.

What did I like? I liked the idea of the Renegade but her many lovers make an ick factor of enormous proportions. I feel like we’ve completely forgot about tedious things such as plot. All we have is a girl in some semblance of heat that willfully left the city to brave the wild lands.

Would I recommend or buy? Not unless your in some way in love with bodily fluids and like to read content that waxes poetic about said fluids.

I received a complimentary copy to read and voluntarily left a review.

Oh, to see without my eyes because what the absolute fuck did I just read??

The cover drew me in and the series name intrigued me, but wow this was definitely not for me.

I really should have stopped after I realized it was an A/B/O book, but I didn't and I have to live with that now. At a certain point I was only reading to get to the end so I could stop. A horrible decision really since I hated everything about it and should have just DNF'ed.

Shit hits the fan after an Omega harem slave offends her malicious Alpha Prince.

Some of the most unabashedly visceral and raunchy Omegaverse I've ever read, wow! My heart ached for Renegade. This was the first book I've read by Myra Danvers and it won't be the last.

CW for typical dark Omegaverse themes

I don't like the way it read. The writing is amateur.

Beautiful beginning

Myra Danvers may be a chaos demon, but her words are anything but chaotic (demonic, maybe!). Gruesome and detailed and visceral and vibrant, her words paint the page in a descriptive mural that implores the mind to open all the senses to this new, strange world.

I cannot wait for more!

It has been a couple of days since I finished this book. The truth is, I’m still trying to wrap my head around it, but it was an exciting read.

There were a few moments in which the pace slowed but always seemed to pick back up. I have never read anything from the Omegaverse trope making this book different from any other I’ve read. The storyline and world built were intriguing, and the characters were distinct. I’m interested to read what happens next.

Voluntarily reviewed after receiving a free copy courtesy of BookSprout and the author, Myra Danvers.

Dnf'd at chapter 5.
This is definitely NOT for me.
I found it degrading and weird.
Nothing about it up to this point got me interested or invested. Mostly it just disgusted me.
Kind of like watching someone play with their own vomit.
Gross

The Hathorians have long ago been conquered by the Anhur. Hathorian males are used as amusement and entertainment for Anhur Queens and other such nobles. Hathorian females have been gradually turned into breeders for Hathorian males, their offspring being hybrids that are raised to be warriors and nothing more. This is a story of one Hathorian female who is accused of deceit and betrayal after her matron is found to have been giving her an herbal concoction that prevents pregnancy. Though the Hathorian female had nothing to do with such betrayal to her station, she is punished by being banished from the harem and given to the guards to use at their leisure. After suffering abuse and disfigurement, the female manages to escape to the beyond (forest) where dangers lurk around every tree, a virus threatens to take hold, and she is forced to endure the full effects of going into heat without the natural suppressant that she had been given to make her cycle bearable. Understand, that if you came here for an expansive story, you came to the wrong place. The story is there, yes, but it's not a deep one thus far. However, if you are a reader with certain kinks that may be a little out of the norm, this book might interest you. What this book does do, it does it really well! Sometimes that's all the honesty and story you need or all the story you're seeking and there is nothing wrong with that! It definitely made for an interesting shift at work! Four stars just for being what it is.
