Always love a good rock and roll read. Descriptions of the songs and their thundering crowd made me wish I could experience it

This might just be one of the best and most unique books I have ever read.

Loved this! I tried to read the book, at least twice, but had trouble getting into it. Finally got the audiobook and was hooked!! Such a great book.

4.5 rounded down. I was surprised by how much I liked this book! I walked in apprehensive about the oral history/documentary script style, but it worked amazingly well. The characters were so real, and you could really feel that rock and roll life they were living. Slight ding for contrived ending.

This book really hits my mind, the story is simple and easy to read, well written so I could read it in original version (i don't speak English as first language) and that's because I liked it so much. Plus, it's full of old rock 'n roll, how could I not love it!

How is it that a book about Rock n'Roll.in the 70s was boring??...but here we are. I just didn't get this at all.

I hated all the characters, apart from Camilla and Karen. I cannot stand Daisy, she's such a spoiled privileged rich girl who just needs thought the world owed her something. I know the whole point is that they're all flawed etc, but I just didn't care at all about the music or the drugs or their inner demons.
