I really love the art and the character/world style, but I'm not as wild about the story - still gonna see what happens in volume 2.

Solid 5/5 stars
This was a really fast paced read! The story telling was done really well and it was easy to see where the story was going. I loved the little twists in this story -- especially the one at the end, like wow. The subtle romance was cute (I'm also really jealous of how the love interest's hair flows) and loved the art style.

I really enjoyed the world-building in this book, from the illegal races and gangs to our protagonist's mysterious origins. Babs Tarr's art as always is stunning! I'm so happy to find another good graphic series to follow.
