This was an easy psychological/domestic thriller to read.
It is a little slow, especially in comparison to “Behind Closed Doors” by this author. But I still enjoyed it and wanted to know what was going to happen throughout the story.
It was a good read, but I probably won’t think about it again or reread it.

Okay… I didn’t see that final twist coming. I must say about halfway through this book I thought I had read it because it seemed so familiar. I also was able to figure a few of the twists out which is why I couldn’t rate it as high as I would have liked. Thankfully the last twist made it all worth it. Definitely worth the read. Just know you may think you’ve read a book like it before.

Overview: Heard good things about this one and I have to say it was a decent read. Easy reading, easy to follow, nice little snippets of information revealed at the right times. I didn't guess the ending either. Was a nice surprise!

Good Points: I enjoyed reading this before bed and I often found myself reading "just one more chapter". I liked the characters, apart from Leo. The dialogue flowed well. The setting of The Circle community was really good too and gave it a claustrophobic feel.

Not so Good Points: While I didn't guess the ending I did find it a bit cliche. Also I found the reason why Alice became obsessed with the murder a bit...lacking.

Overall a great thriller and one I'd definitely recommend.

Getting a house with your long distance boyfriend is probably not the best idea especially with a guy you never thought to do a background check on. The neighbors are welcoming in the circle and they become friends. However, when she finds out her boyfriend lied to her about a murder that happened a few months ago in the house and some other things he lied about. Well it becomes her mission to figure out who the killer is, even to the point as being convinced it could be each one of her neighbors. Paranoid much?

Weird things start happening at the house and will she be in time to figure out who the murderer really is before she is their latest victim?
